诚实而非隐瞒

尊敬的老师，亲爱的同学们：
Respected teachers, dear students:

大家好!今天我们演讲的主题是“诚实并非隐瞒”。
Hello everyone! The theme of today’s speech is “Honesty is Not hidden”.

所谓诚实，就是表里如一，言行一致。一个诚实的人，是一个胸怀坦荡的人，是一个有高尚品德的人。
To be honest is what one says and to be what one says. An honest person, is an open mind person, is a noble character.

一个诚实的人，应该要内不欺己，外不欺人。外不欺人，就是对人真诚，答应别人的事，一定要做到；内不欺己，就是对自己诚实，严格地要求自己，言行一致，不说谎话，作业和考试求真实，不抄袭、不作弊。
An honest man should not deceive himself at home and others outside. Do not deceive people, is to be sincere to people, promised to others, must do; Don’t cheat yourself, is to be honest with yourself, strict requirements of their own, mate words with deeds, not to lie, homework and exams for the truth, not copy, not cheating.

有一位名人这样说过“我在小学校园里学到了人生中最重要的知识，学会了借东西一定要还，学会了把自己拥有的分享给他人，学会了真诚待人，学会了诚实。”
A famous person once said, “I learned the most important knowledge in my life in my primary school. I learned to return what I borrow, to share what I own with others, to treat people sincerely, and to be honest.”

同学们，你在日常学习生活中真的诚实了吗？当你在离开座位后，自觉地把椅子贴着课桌放回原处了吗？当老师在上课时能做到不胡乱插嘴吗？当看完书以后能归还原处吗？当你答应别人的事你努力做到了吗？
Students, are you really honest in your daily study and life? When you left your seat, did you consciously put your chair back next to the desk? When the teacher in the class, can you do not casually interrupt? Can you return the book when you finish reading it? When you say yes to something, do you try to do it?

其实，做到诚实并不难，从一点一滴做起就行。例如我们买东西时，别人多找了钱，主动还给卖主;在校园里捡到了钱物，主动还给失主或交给老师；考试成绩不好时，实事求是地告诉家长，不能弄虚作假；别人向你求教问题时，会就是会，不会就说不会；答应同学明天带一本有趣的书，第二天一定带给他……养成诚实好品质需要从小事做起，更需要坚持去做！
In fact, it is not difficult to be honest, start from little by little. For example, when we buy something, others have changed the money, offer to return the seller; Found money in the school, offer to return to the owner or to the teacher; When the exam results are not good, tell the truth to the parents, not to cheat; When someone asks you a question, you can say “yes l can” or “sorry I can’t”. Promise your classmate to bring an interesting book tomorrow, and be sure to bring it to him the next day…To develop a good quality of honesty needs to start from small things, more need to keep doing them!

愿我们因诚实多了友谊，因诚实添了风采，因诚实而走得踏实，成为一个高尚的诚实人，愿每一位同学都能载着诚实之舟，驶向前程似锦的明天！
May we be more honest because of the friendship, because of the honesty added elegant demeanor, because of the honesty and go down to earth, become a noble honest person, may every student can carry the boat of honesty, sailing for a bright future!
