【纪念日】100 Days of School in Grade One 一年级“在校100天”
Tuesday, February 23 marks the 100th Day of School. The Grade One classroom has been diligently counting each day of school and marking it down every morning during Morning Meeting. On Tuesday, February 23 our Grade One students celebrated the 100th Day of School with a party!
Our students put first things first to get creative at home. Their homework was to create a 100 Days of School Poster using their imagination and creativity. The job was to create a poster with 100 items. Some of our friends drew 100 hearts or leaves, others glued 100 pieces of balled up paper, used 100 stickers and others made 100 fingerprints.
During Morning Meeting our friends counted to 100. First by 1s, then by 5s, and lastly by 10s. The students also participated in a friendly competition of counting to 100 by his/herself.
During the first English Class, our friends participated in challenging, hands-on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) activities. The activities were to see what you can build from:
•100 Linking Cubes
•100 Pattern Blocks
•100 Pipe Cleaners在第一节英语课上，孩子们参加了富有挑战性的STEM（科学、技术、工程和数学）实践活动。这些活动旨在了解你从以下物品中可以构建出什么:
During the second English Class, our friends created a 100 Days Stamp Book. They used their fingerprints to count by tens all the way to 100.
