【国旗下讲话】祝福祖国，感恩祖国 Blessings to Our Motherland
2022年是中华人民共和国成立73周年。73年披荆斩棘，73年风雨兼程。回顾中华人民共和国走过的光辉历程，我们感慨万千；仰望星空，心怀梦想，我们将踏上新的征程。在祖国母亲73岁生日即将到来之际，嘉洋全体师生深情的祝福祖国，感恩祖国。
敬爱的老师，亲爱的同学：
Dear teachers and classmates:
大家好。今天，我们国旗下演讲的主题是：祝福祖国，感恩祖国。有国才有家，无家不成国，千千万万个小家凝聚成一个团结强大的国家。所以爱国，就应从爱家、爱校，从身边的一点一滴开始。
Good morning. Today our topic is :Bless our motherland, giving thanks to our motherland.Where there is a country, there is a home,and vice versa. Thousands of small families unite into a united and powerful country. Therefore, loving our country means loving our family,our school,and starting it bit by bit!
作为嘉洋学子，我们要爱自己的祖国，要热爱自己的家，但更应该热爱嘉洋这个大家。可是我们应该怎样爱学校呢？我想，我们应该要从身边的小事做起。
As a member of Joy School, we need to love our motherland, our family, but more than that, we should love our school, the big family. Then, what should we do? We should start from the small things around us.
在校园里，我们时常看到地面上有垃圾，可有些同学却视而不见；在操场上，同学们在玩耍的过程中，总是在有意无意地践踏着草坪；在校园的小路间，可以看见一些同学遇见老师不问好，只是自顾自地走着……这些虽然都是小事，可是，我们必须要在看到垃圾的时候，把它捡起来扔进垃圾桶里；要在看见草坪的时候，抬一抬脚，跨过去；要在遇到老师的时候，恭恭敬敬地问声好……在一件件看似微乎其微的小事中，昭显嘉洋学子的优良品质，让嘉洋这个大家庭里处处欢声笑语。
In campus, we often see rubbish on the ground, but some of us just ignore it; in the playground, some students always intentionally or unintentionally trample on the lawn when they play; on the paths of the campus, some students don’t greet their teachers when they meet them, but just walk away. These are all small things. However, we must pick up the rubbish when we see it and throw it into the dustbin; keep off the grass; greet your teachers respectfully. Show our character through small things, and make our school full of joy.
一滴水蕴藏着大海的本质，一束光反映了太阳的光辉，一件小事也能折射出一个人的修养。我们作为新时代的少年，要树立远大的理想，成为栋梁之才。只是在我们努力成才的时候，首先要成人，学做一个有责任感的人，做一个会感恩的人——感恩父母，感恩老师，感恩身边每一个关心过你的人。
A drop of water contains the essence of the sea, a beam of light reflects the brilliance of the sun, a small thing can also reflect a person’s cultivation。As Teenagers of the New Era, we need to set up the broad idea, and become national pillars in the future. But build your character first on this path, and learn to be responsible and thankful. be grateful to our parents,teachers,and anyone who ever cared about you.
爱国先爱校，成才先成人，我们必须从小事做起，严格要求，长期坚持。学校是我们的家，建设靠大家，让我们充分利用一切机会，把文明习惯的养成作为己任，并长期坚持，让我们学校的校容校貌和自我的人文气质再放异彩！谢谢大家。
Love your school before you love your country，develop your personality before becoming a talent.We must start from small things,discipline ourselves, and persevere.School is our home,construction will depend on all of us. Let’s use every chance to take the cultivation of civilized habits as our own responsibility, and be persistent for a long-term. Let’s make our appearance and humane quality shine again!
