【国旗下讲话】肯合作，为服务
“肯合作、为服务”一直是嘉洋学校所倡导并践行的教育理念。合作，就是“我们一起做”；服务，就是“我能为你做什么”。合作+服务，不仅能有助于提高我们的学习成绩，也是我们今后走向社会、融入社会、造福社会，成长为社会领导者、体现自我价值的人生准则。今天，国旗下讲话中，来自嘉洋中学部的两位同学为我们详细解读了他们心中“肯合作”“为服务”的重要意义。
亲爱的老师、同学们，大家上午好：
Dear teachers and students, good morning,
在我们的社会中，合作是非常重要的品格。可能会有人说，我一个人就够了，不需要合作。但是，有些事是一个人做不完的。有句话说：“人多力量大”，人越多，力量越大，事情完成的时间自然也就减少了不少，言而总之，合作是人生在社会上必须要会的。在校园里，合作则更为重要，学会了合作，不但可以更快地解决问题，也可以提升口语交际能力与自信心，不但可以自己受益，也同样能让他人受益。
Cooperation is a very important character in our society. Some people may say, I can do by myself, I do not need cooperation. However, some things can’t be done by one person. There is an old saying: “There is strength in numbers”, the more people, the more power, the time to finish things will naturally reduce a lot.In a word, cooperation is necessary in the society. On campus, cooperation is more important. Learning to cooperate could not only solve problems faster, but also improve oral communication and self-confidence, which can not only benefit yourself, but also others.
当你准备挪移重的东西时，你不会找一个或多个人帮你一起搬吗？你不会寻求帮助吗？所以，不要以为自己什么都可以做得来，根本不需要他人的帮助。当你与他人合作时，自己身上的担子就会减轻许多。
When you were moving something heavy, don’t you get another one to help you ? Won’t you ask for help? So don’t assume that you can do anything without the help of others. When you cooperate with others, your burden will be shared.
我们要学习如何合作，如何寻求他人的帮助，如何和他人沟通。合作也并非做一个指挥官，指挥他做这个、做那个，而是一起做，合作是互相的。在合作的过程当中，并不只有一个人在工作，而是一起工作，也就是说要团结。这都是我们需要学习的。
We should learn how to cooperate, how to ask help from others and how to communicate with others. To cooperation is not to be a commander, tell others to do this or that. but get together, and communicate. In the process , there is not just one person working, but working together, which means united. That’s what we need to learn.
莱特兄弟从1896年就开始研究飞机。他们一边开自行车店赚钱，一边还要积累航空知识，观察老鹰飞行，反复设计图纸，经过三年多日日夜夜的准备，在1900年10月莱特兄弟制成了依靠风力做动力的滑翔机。此后，莱特兄弟开始琢磨用发动机做动力的飞机。又经过三年多的反复试验，吸收自己与别人的经验，总结教训，不断改进，终于在1903年12月17日试飞成功了有发动机的飞机。这个故事中的莱特并没有一个人承担所有，而是将一部分的负担分给了自己的兄弟，也就是“兄弟齐心，其利断金”。他们的做法也同样奉献并服务了社会，为交通运输做出了贡献。我们是否也能像他们一样服务社会呢？
The Wright brothers had been working on airplanes since 1896. While earning money by a bicycle shop, they also accumulated aviation knowledge, watched eagles fly, and designed drawings repeatedly . After more than three years of preparation day and night. In October 1900, the Wright brothers made a glider powered by wind . After that, the Wright brothers began to design an airplane powered by an engine. After more than three years of repeated trials, they summing up lessons from their own and others’ experience. Finally on December 17, 1903, test flight of an airplane with engines was successful. In this story, Wright shared the burden to his brother, that is, “when brothers work together, their strength can break gold .” Their action also helped the society, make contributions to the traffic, transportation. Can we serve society as they did?
教科书上说：“服务社会体现人生价值”，一个人的价值并不在与他收到了什么、得到了什么，反而，他的价值在于他给出了什么、贡献了什么。有一句话说：“施比受更有福”，当你付出的时候，别人很有可能会记住你，并还你以回报、报酬。但如果你每件事都没付出就得到结果的时候，别人可能会用不一样的眼光看你，说你很小气。人人都有责任回报社会，为他人与社会提供服务。服务社会可以让别人向你学习、可以让自己得到尊重与肯定。“服务社会能够促进我们全面发展”服务社会的过程中，我们能得到许多，可以丰富我们的阅历与知识、打开我们的视野与格局、同时也能提升人际交往的能力、交到更多的朋友。社会也会有很大的改变，可能当你开始服务时，你的好友也会被你带动一起服务，你的家人也会支持鼓励你。
The textbook says: “Serving the society is the value of your life”, a person’s value is not in what he received, on the contrary, his value lies in what he gave and contributed. There is a saying: “giving is more blessed than receiving”, when you gave, others are likely to remember you, and return you back. But if you get results without doing anything, people may look at you differently and say you’re mean. Everyone has the responsibility to give back to society and provide services to others and society. Serving the society can let others learn from you, can let yourself get respect and recognition. “Serving the society can promote us” In the process of serving the society, we can get a lot, can enrich our experience and knowledge, open our vision, but also improve the ability of interpersonal communication, make more friends. Society will also change a lot. Maybe when you start to serve, your friends will be brought along by you and your family will support you and encourage you.
社会上，有很多事不是一个人就能解决的，我们需要帮助他人，也需要他人的帮助。所以，不要以为自己什么都行，要记住“人多力量大”。
